Our Chosen Charity
We are delighted to have as our chosen charity of the year the Friends of the Baby Unit (FOBU) at the Royal Derby Hospital. They were established in 1976 and since then have raised over £2 million pounds in support of the Derby Neonatal Unit who care for premature and sick babies. Their fundraising provides support and guidance for parents, as well as vital equipment for the unit itself such as incubators and much more.
We have lots of exciting events and fundraisers planned to help raise much needed funds for the unit, so keep an eye out on our events page.
Our first event in support of FOBU is our Annual Concert in November which will take place at The Chapel at Trent College in Long Eaton.
We are working extremely hard to prepare for this and we can’t wait to have a fabulous evening full of beautiful, upbeat songs and music.
We’ll also have a little bit of Christmas music to put you in the Christmas spirit.
Our Crafting Queens are also currently knitting, crocheting, sewing, and hand-making some amazing gift ideas to sell at our Showcase.
Watch this space for a sneaky peek of what you can purchase or order.
