Our Annual Concert

The Wildflower Showcase, “Music for the Soul”

Join us for an evening of music for the soul, showcasing some of the Wildflowers varied talents with a medley of different genres and themes.

We are delighted to be hosting this event in the stunning Chapel at Trent College. The Chapel dated from 1875 is the spiritual heart of the school. The west door curtain was a part of the interior of Westminster Abbey at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The wooden collection plates are carved from olive wood from the Garden of Gethsemane outside Jerusalem where Jesus Christ was arrested before his crucifixion.

We are so delighted to be given the opportunity to sing to visitors, staff and patients at The Royal Derby Hospital in December.

Bringing Christmas Cheer at their time in need and lifting everyone’s spirits.

Breaston Parish Council Carol Concert

Come and join the community of Breaston in their Annual Carol Concert. We will be joining in with all the carols and providing some further Christmas Songs in the Wildflower Style.

Plus they will be switching their Christmas lights on.

The Wedding of Georgia & Dylan

We are so delighted to have been asked to sing at the Wedding Ceremony of one of our own Wildflower’s daughters Georgia with her soon to be husband Dylan. There’s going to be a lot of love in the room on that day and we hope we can bring some magic to your ceremony with our voices.

Plus its our first ever time singing in a castle, this is going to end our year off with some Christmas sparkle!

Derbyshire Community Male Voice Choir Annual Concert

We are delighted to have been asked back as Special Guests at the Derbyshire Male Voice Community Choir Annual Concert of 2025.

We have been told on the grapevine that this will be a mass choir concert and we cant wait to see who we are singing with.

We are also very excited about the venue too………

Watch this space for a spectacular evening with lots of differing sounds and voices, we cant wait!

Joint Concert with Leicestershire Co-op Band

We are so excited to join forces with The Leicestershire Co-op Brass Band for our end of season concert.

There will be lots of amazing music and some joint pieces too, its one not to miss!

Wildflower Naming Ceremony

Thursday 12th September 2024

After our amazing fundraise for our new sound equipment we had an official Naming Ceremony for our new mixing desk “Betty”, any excuse for some fizz and a party. Betty was named after one our Wildflowers Grandmas’s Betty Hooton after she made a very generous donation to buy this with money that was left to her after Betty sadly passed away. We were honoured to of been given this opportunity. We tried it out for the first time and we sounded out of this world. We cant wait to share the sound with you.

Again a Massive Thank you to Marie, her Mum and their family for making this much needed donation.
